Most air guns shoot BBs or pellets, sometimes accepting both. The Umarex AirSaber X2 is designed to fire specially made arrows. This is the first double-barrel air archery gun available.
As the name suggests, the AirSaber X2 has two barrels that hold an arrow each. The onboard air tank holds 240 ccs of gas, enough for 25 shots at maximum velocity. The 376-grain arrows can reach at least 450 FPS, more than enough to take down big game.

The air is compressed up to 4,000 psi and, when released, will propel these heavy arrows at a blistering speed. According to Umarex’s website, you can expect to hit targets around 70 yards away.
The arrows the AirSaber X2 fire have carbon fiber shafts and accept many arrowheads commercially available. However, they only come with 100-grain field tips by default. Fortunately, these are easily replaceable by broadheads and more.

No other arrows function properly with the Umarex AirSaber X2. It would be best if you stuck with these alone. The second barrel’s shot is accessible via a selector. This is a push-through button that lets you fire both arrows rapidly. If one shot isn’t enough for the target, the second one isn’t far behind. The Umarex AirSaber X2 has four Picatinny rails in total. Three are found on the forearm, while the top rail is attached to the receiver. The first three accept most rifle accessories, such as lights, lasers, and even bipods.

The receiver rail is perfect for scopes. As the AirSaber X2 is commonly used for hunting, consider a red dot scope or low-magnification hunting optic. These are all readily available choices.
An ergonomic stock is what allows for comfortable shooting. There’s also a rubber butt pad for comfort, since prolonged shouldering can result in sore muscles.
