The versatility of the M4 design allows all users to customize it according to their preferences, like the barrel length, which is often something that varies between operators’ needs. The KWA Ronin T6 VM4 is a perfect example of an M4 modified for close-quarters battles.
The buffer tube system isn’t the best for compactness, but KWA makes it work by attaching a collapsible stock, similar to those found on H&K’s G3 rifles and MP5 submachine guns. It allows you to stow the weapon in tight spots, too, preventing it from snagging on objects. When needed, however, it’s rigid enough to shoulder and shoot.
The MLOK system has been gaining popularity, and the VM4 has a unique handguard that combines this system and the proven Picatinny rails. The sides have MLOK horizontal and diagonal slots, while the top and bottom are Picatinny rails. This configuration allows for extreme flexibility when attaching accessories. The top rail also comes with folding iron sights that don’t hinder red dot sights.
KWA’s Adjustable FPS system is present in this airsoft replica, and you can also further change the velocity by replacing springs. The Flat Dark Earth, or FDE, camouflage is relatively uncommon, but it offers a breath of fresh air compared to all the black furniture out there. The receiver and handguard come in FDE, while other parts are primarily black.
