From Elite Force the Competition TAR 21 is the newest rendition of the popular Israel Tavor. The Competition class TAR 21 features the same design as the Elite series TAR 21 with sacrificing little. The externals sport full trademarks, premium build quality, and the unique ergonomics that a bullpup weapon design gives. Capable of using all standard M4 magazines this is a rifle designed to be adaptable. Its bullpup configuration allows for a long inner barrel while maintaining a CQB capable length and an included rail system allows for optics to be applied. High quality internals are highlighted by a full metal gearbox and metal bushings. The Competition TAR 21 internals allow for a solid rate of fire, consistent FPS, and combine to make the Competition TAR-21 by Elite Force an outstanding addition to both new players and veterans alike.
I just took the gun out for the 1st time in CQB. It took corners great, accuracy was a little off, (due to the lubrication in the brand new gear box) but that will go away after a few rounds. The bolt catch is a great feature, the body i wished had more texture to it, but since the real Tavor is made out of a polymer it makes it look nice. The gearbox is really snappy and with your head right next to the gearbox, not only is it loud but you actually feel a slight recoil. (this is not a blow black) The gun in a whole is a fantastic price, people were very surprised to hear me tell them that it was just under $175. Umarex really pulled through with this gun, it eliminates the competitor design by S&T. The battery is a 8.4v 1200 mah, its 1st charge lasted a full 6 hour day and it still had more "juice." Now the only bad that happened to my order was the rail mount was wobbly, I have to see if its a defected rail, or a few loose screws. I love this gun and you will need at least a .5" riser for an optic; for a heads up.Shane
