Some airsoft users may have wondered if bringing a competition pistol to a gunfight is a great idea. The answer is yes, but you’ll need to make adjustments accordingly. This Black/Silver WE-Tech Hi-Capa 6” IREX Competition Full Auto Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol might not be competition-legal, but it’s more than enough for combat situations.
The weapon is similar to WE Tech’s other Hi-Capa 6-Inch Competition models, but this one has a full-auto capability. Sometimes, a full-auto mode can save the day when there are too many enemies around. You can also fire in semi-auto for precision shooting.
The gun is mainly made of high-quality aluminum, with select components constructed of polymer. A heavier gun like this is an advantage, as you need to mitigate the recoil somehow, primarily when firing in full-auto.
Iron sights are mounted onto the slide by default, but you can swap out the rear block for a micro red dot sight. This option will help make close-range shooting more manageable, though it may suffer at longer distances.
You can lock the gun with the safety catch, but there’s also a beavertail grip safety for extra assurance.
