This is the older WE-Tech Hi-Capa 5.1 “Dragon” Full Auto Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol. It shares many design features with the semi-auto Dragon Hi-Capa 5.1, only it has an extra firing mode. If you like full-auto 1911s, this one may be right for you.

Handguns can often suffer damage. For that reason, WE-Tech uses aluminum for the barrel, slide, and frame.

The slide is the most notable difference other than the ability to fire in full auto. This split slide has a different design, especially the front. Besides, there are still lightning cuts or ports for a stylish look.

Instead of the diagonal line slide serrations, this Full Auto Dragon has two rows of curved serrations. The design appeals to users who prefer something different, but it’s no less effective at providing a firm grip for racking the slide. Otherwise, many other components are similar. You get the same fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight. The bottom rail also extends all the way to the muzzle, which is a modern innovation not found in the earlier 1911 variants.

The functional beavertail safety prevents accidental discharge and enhances the grip. It works alongside the ambidextrous safety catch for maximum weapon security.
A common feature of modern 1911s is the adoption of the skeletonized trigger, such as this three-hole design. It’s easier to pull than a traditional lever trigger design as well.
