This WE Tech 1911 Hi-Capa T-Rex Competition Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol w/ Top Ports is a perfect example of a race gun. Unlike the other WE-Tech 1911s, it has a polymer frame.

The slide and barrel are aluminum, so you don’t lose too much in the durability department. Rest assured, as the polymer frame is more than capable of taking a severe beating.
The split slide is exceptionally light and has ports. With less mass to propel, the pistol has a higher firing rate and lower tendency to flip. However, care should be taken to prevent dirt from entering the mechanism.

While a micro red dot sight isn’t included, you can replace the rear iron sight with one. It has to be a compatible model, as many standard ones are too large.
The beveled magwell helps with quick reloading, especially in combat situations where taking your eyes off the target equals poor battlefield awareness. It reduces the chances of magazines slipping away from the grip.
