The original Remington 1100 is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun that took the American market by storm. This Crosman air rifle replica isn’t semi-automatic, as you need to pump the slide before shooting. While it’s a variable-pump air rifle, you can tell this is a highly accurate copy.
The gun can only hold one pellet at a time, but if you have 1,000 BBs, they can all fit into the massive reservoir. That’s equal to hours of continuous shooting and some highly exercised arms. You’ll need a whole day to go through the entire ammo supply.
The Remington 1100 replica can reach 700 FPS with 12 pumps using pellets. BBs are only slightly slower at 645 FPS. Shooters can always pump fewer times for a lower muzzle velocity, perfect when the shooting area is smaller.
Iron sights are mounted onto the barrel, as this isn’t a shotgun, and you want to hit targets accurately. The rear sights are a raised notch while the front blade is also elevated. There are no locations for mounting scopes.
