The Austrian Glock handguns are remarkable weapons, having been in service for decades. Today, many military and police units still wear their Glocks with pride. As with all pistols, it’s essential to train in their usage.
This Umarex Glock 17 paintball marker allows anyone to do just that. Instead of firing BBs, it shoots .43 caliber paintballs. Thus, you can bring it to paintball matches without issue. And like many CO2 airsoft weapons, it requires a 12g CO2 cartridge.
This handgun is a licensed product from the Glock company, allowing Umarex to have the original Glock markings on the slide and frame. With these markings, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference between this copy and the real thing.
While the original Glock 17 has 17 rounds in the magazine, this paintball pistol can only hold eight rounds. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be possible to double-stack paintballs, so if you own a real Glock, the magazine capacity might take some time to get used to.
Made in Germany to strict tolerances and standards, you can expect the pistol to perform flawlessly in any condition. What’s more, you can even use commercially-available holsters with this weapon. It will fit snugly, ready to be drawn.
At the front of the frame and near the tip is a single tactical rail. You can attach a laser sight, flashlight, or a combination light onto it for all conditions. If you’re using it for training, you’ll find this feature highly welcome.
Overall, this Glock paintball pistol will make an excellent sidearm for MagFed paintball events or practice at home. As the paintballs aren’t lethal, you can even practice live-fire situations with a buddy, as long as safety precautions are met. You won’t regret having this in your collection.
