If you’re looking for a more competitive air pistol, this Crosman 2300S has everything you need. It fires 0.177 caliber pellets at 520 FPS, which is more than enough to hit competition targets.
The barrel has been replaced with one made by Walther, the world-famous German firearms manufacturer. It’s much more accurate than a standard barrel, and with the help of a micrometer-adjustable Williams rear sight and front post, you can make precise shots easily.
Sitting on an aluminum weight block, the front sight is very stable. While you might not think the extra weight is necessary, it does reduce muzzle climb and flip. These are crucial for single-shot guns that don’t follow up.
If you want to shoot with a scope, mount it onto the 11 mm dovetail grooves. Many aftermarket or Crosman optics will fit perfectly.
Depending on your requirements, this air pistol can fire at high or low power. Low power is measured at 440 FPS.
