Firing .22 caliber pellets, this air rifle has more hitting power than .177 caliber guns. The more you pump it, the faster your pellets fly. The fastest you can get is 850 fps with alloy pellets, while lead ammunition is slower, at 700 fps.
You get a fixed blade front sight and adjustable rear peep sight for aiming. If required, you can also change it to an open sight, which is better for situations that require speedy aim.
As a bolt-action plus pump-action rifle, you retract the bolt before inserting a pellet into the chamber. Once the bolt is back to its original position, you can start pumping. This configuration allows for safe shooting because of how methodical you must be.
Thanks to the synthetic stock, your hands can always maintain a firm grip on the rifle.
