The battery is housed in the stock and can be upgraded to a 9.6v battery for increased performance. The metal high capacity magazine holds up to 600 rounds and is compatible with most brands of AK-47 magazines (JG, CYMA, Dboys, TM). This AEG has a 455mm inner barrel making it very accurage at long ranges. The gun shoots at 380 FPS with a range of approximately 120 - 150 ft. I am more than impressed with this Arsenal SA M7 Full Metal AK-47 AEG Airsoft Rifle. It has the look and the feel of the real thing and the accuracy right out of the box was unbelievable. Even for having faux wooden parts, the look and feel of those are just as real. Overall for the price and what one receives I would have to highly recommend this AEG airsoft rifle to the beginner, as well as the expert in the sport/hobby.
