The KR series is a line of high-end AEGs by KWA which embrace the new trend of keymod rail systems. This full metal AEGs feature the well known 2GX gearbox system designed by KWA and known for their reliability and performance.
The KR14 features a 14" keymod rail system invented by VLTOR as a replacement for the much bulkier classic picatinny/weaver RIS systems. The keymod rail allows users to put rail sections anywhere along their 15 keymod slots to then attach aftermarket accessories to. This keeps down on overall front-end weight as well as the sharp edges of the classic picatinny rails that can chew up operators hands or gloves. 2 rail sections are included for mounting lights, lasers, grips, and more to. In addition to the keymod system the gun also has removable front and rear sights for use alone or with aftermarket optics such as scopes or red dots mounted along it's monolithic upper picatinny/wearer rail. A six position adjustable crane stock fits a wide variety of nunchuck and crane stock style batteries as well. Included with the rifle is a classic K120 polymer mid-capacity magazine.
Internally, KWA's V2GX Gearbox comes equipped with a M120 spring for FPS reaching 380-410 FPS, perfect for this long-barreled rifle. A 2G high performance twin-fin bucking gives repeatable, consistant hop-up for additional range and accuracy.
