Air revolvers like this Crosman SNR357 are excellent training tools or target practice guns anyone will love. You can place both .177 caliber pellets and BBs into mock cartridges. These fit inside the cylinder and operate similarly to an actual revolver.
The curved revolver pistol grip houses a 12g CO2 cartridge that propels the projectiles out of the shell. Once you fire all shots, you can remove the mock cartridges and insert new ones. Each cartridge contains enough gas for around 100 shots.
As a double/single action revolver, cocking the hammer is optional. Doing so allows for a lighter trigger pull like most pistols.
The revolver has a fixed front blade and adjustable rear notch. The sights work brilliantly for the short ranges you’ll be shooting with this gun.
Like many modern designs, the Crosman SNR357 has a swing-out cylinder. The cylinder release is on the left side and activated with your thumb.
The steel BBs have a slightly faster muzzle velocity at 400 FPS. On the other hand, the pellets fly slower at 350 FPS.
