The MK 17 is the second part of the FN SCAR family of weapons. Controllability is a hallmark of the MK 17, firing controlled pairs easily even in full-auto mode. Like the MK 16, the MK 17 remains a completely ambidextrous rifle design with multiple integral MIL-STD 1913 mounting rails and a telescoping, folding buttstock with adjustable cheekpiece.
The vfc scar h is a all around good gun. But there are some cons that really take away form the guns usability. USAirsoft on youtube
First is its range, the range on the gun is very good out of the box, allowing me to really reach out and touch some people, (180 - 200 ft). The next pro is the feel, I like the way it feels holding it. The weight is heavy but its balanced right at the receiver and makes it feel lighter. The next pro is more one for me but used the scar h in just about all of my favorite games.
Next there is the cons on the gun. First is the mag. The mag feeds fine but I bought the gun not knowing that mid caps would cost $30 for one, that's a little steep for me. The next con is the grip, the pistol grip is not compatible with other m4 pistol grips and the edges of the lower around your hand are sharp and have cut me this really bugs me. Ben
