This high end AEG is made out of CNC machined aluminum with a full metal, high quality gearbox. The upper receiver/RIS is one solid aluminum piece. The lower receiver features fully licensed engraved Robinson Armament trademarks. The folding stock is also made of metal and the upper part is padded for your comfort. There is a metal sling attachment point at the rear of the gun, making it easy to attach a one point sling. As for a battery, you have to options with the XCR. You can either house the battery in the included PEQ box or use an internal stick LIPO battery (battery is not included). The PEQ box will easily attach to any of the guns side rails. Pulling back the charging handle reveals the guns hop up unit. The gun does have a working bolt release so the charging handle will stay back while you adjust your hop up. The bolt release on this AEG is ambidextrous. This gun takes standard M4 style magazines. The magazine that is included with the gun is a 120 round mid capacity magazine. Disassembly of the AEG is very simple. The outer barrel can easily be detached from the gun by removing one set screw. You can also open up the body by removing just a single body pin. Internally this AEG is top-notch. The gearbox uses a split gearbox design, making it easy to change the spring and maintain the gun. The versatility of this AEG makes it a great choice for CQB or Field play.
