    1. It worked!

I was able to remove the rivets with pliers and a pin pusher. Also u can barely fit a 9.6v 2000mah nunchuck in there but it fits. These are very good and have a great feel and look. However, if u want these for your airsoft gun I would just spend the little bit more for the airsoft version. Save yourself some time and effort on Jan 25th 2015

    2. It's good but...

Its a great handguard except for one thing, and that is that the one I got was for a real steal m4. The only difference is the real one has a metal heat shield inside which won't allow me to put any battery in there. You can remove this though but it takes some time because it's held on by 2 rivets. I have not tried this yet but I'm pretty sure it will work and am going to do it tonight. However, this will fit on your carbine just fine if your battery is in the stock or if it's a gas gun. If your battery is in the front and you don't want to deal with this than you can find the airsoft version (looks the exact same but without the heat shield) for $40. (I don't know why it's more than the real one.) Hope this was helpful :) on Jan 23rd 2015
