This dot sight has a great feature that saves your battery. Besides the usual on/off switch positions, it has an auto on/off position. When the dot sight is in the horizontal shooting position, it'll stay on. If you tilt it by more than 45 degrees in either direction, the dot sight turns off automatically if it stays in that position for 7 seconds. When you shoulder the gun again and it's in the horizontal shooting position, the reticle is lit and visible again.
